You Are Worthy!

Sometimes it’s a challenge to remember I am worthy…I am valuable…I am loveable…I am good enough!

Sometimes the lies from my past spoken over me by those who were supposed to have loved and protected me…yeah those lies try really hard to drill down in my brain and mess me up.

Haha…I’m learning to recognize them sooner rather than later and kick em to the curb!

We all have days like that!

I’m learning the value of quality self care! I’m learning to give myself permission to be still and heal!

You my friend are so worth the effort to be good to you today!

Take a walk in the woods.

Go for a bike ride.

Read a book.

Listen to music.

Dance like a wild person.

Take a nap.

Say “no”!

Do anything just for you!

You are worth it!

I’d love to hear your story.

Have you gotten your copy yet?

Yesterday I was honored to present our local Sexual Assault Resource Center at Adanta a copy of my book.

It is a great resource for any who work with children and adults especially when dealing with dysfunctional and abusive issues!

So appreciate these ladies and all they do to help those who are hurting.

If you or someone you know has been or is being sexually assaulted please seek help! You do not have to live with shame and guilt any longer! You do deserve to be happy and live a healthy life!

Also if you or someone you know could benefit from reading my story on how I learned to overcome abuse they are available through Oak Tree Publishing, at oaktreepub@yahoo.com. Or if you have an e-reader my book is also available on Amazon kindle.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of my books will be matched by Oak Tree Publishing which all funds then goes toward I Am a Voice for the Voiceless. This is a nonprofit we have started to reach out to assist those who are battling addiction, abuse amd poverty.

Together we can help make a difference right here in our hometown!

Kentucky is ranked #2 in substainted cases of child abuse in the nation! I don’t know about you but that’s not a stat I’m proud of!

Let’s work together to make a difference in the lives of our precious children!

Dare to Dream

Many years ago I often dreamed of being far, far away on some exciting adventure! I’d write my dreams into short stories for my eyes only. Now, I am experiencing my dream of writing coming true for all to read!

Don’t allow anyone to steal your dream!

Secrets in the Hollers pic

Oak Tree Publishing, a new company, did a great job publishing my book, the first in a three part series. And I am now seeing my dream come true of reading what I’ve written in book form. How incredible it is to hold this book knowing I wrote those words!

If you know someone who works in the mental health field, is a physician, children’s pastor, teacher then this book could become a great asset! The Secret series is written in fictional form to highlight how one young worked hard to overcome the monsters that weren’t just under her bed but in her bed. You can follow Kenzy throughout her life as she discovers that there really is hope to be had when she begins making healthier choices as she makes the effort to deal with her painful past gaining fresh perspective and insight.

If you have any questions let me know or if you’d like to order a book, hit me up with that too.

Don’t forget to dream!
