Grief is Necessary

These are the days of passing from one life into another.

Yesterday I found out that a wonderful godly woman passed! She was the last of those I considered my spiritual parent. She taught me so much about being a godly woman.

She’s also a family member though I wasn’t raised knowing that. I discovered more of my family as I grew older.

I so valued her input and advice.

She often told me how proud of me she was.
Or how I deserved so much better. (I was in an abusive marriage at the time.) During those years, she helped me stay sane.
I learned how to stand up for myself and that I was worth something by her words and actions.

‘Thank you for loving me just as I was! Till I see you in Heaven! I’ll always love you!!’
